Passing of RPD Scooby

We bring sad news this evening 12 Year old RPD Scooby has passed over the rainbow bridge 🌈

RPD Scooby started his British Transport Police career in 2014 as an Explosive search dog.

Police Dog Scooby acomplished alot in his career being both a proactive and passive search dog.

RPD Scooby was one of a few dogs that was commended and awarded a PDSA medal for their work in the 2017 London Bridge terror attacks. He was also was part of other major events such as Westminster Bridge, North Greenwich, Parsons Green and Manchester Arena.

British Transport Police even named a meeting room after him.

Scooby retired to his handler and family after completing his service in 2021.

Scooby will be missed by everyone who knew him.
